C.S.M. Volei Alba Blaj opened the match much better than the hosts who seemed a little shy during the first minutes. The visitors, led by Baciu were really confident and even though Vasas Óbuda put up a fight, 10 points which they delivered to opponents by own mistake was too much and it was Blaj closing the first set after few saved setballs. Next part was tight to 9-9, the team from Romania outspiked the hosts 17 to 8 with Baciu staying the strongest in this element. Third part started with Ayshan Abdulazimova on serve. Budapest took a lead 3-0 and kept improving it being led by Kata Török and Trine Kjelstrup,  Vasas Óbuda BUDAPEST played bravely, without any pressure and surprised their opponents. Later on Mária Kostelanská joined the hosts powerful attacking display with some great spikes as the home team took the third set. Alba Blaj took the initiative in the fourth set, Vasas Óbuda’s head coach, Jakub Głuszak had to use both of his timeouts early on. The home team managed to climb back end tied, but in the end the more experienced Blaj emerged victorious and can travel home with three points. Ioana Baciu was the best scorer with 22 points and was named the MVP.
