    Fakel overpower KEMEROVO to lead Pool B

    The power of Fakel NOVY URENGOY was just too much for Kuzbass KEMEROVO today, the home team led the way from the get go and never allowed the visitors to get into their game. The 3-0 (25-21, 25-16, 25-20) win was well deserved. With a total of twelve blocks in three sets, they put up a great defensive system. KEMEROVO had no way of coping with it.

    The win offers NOVY URENGOY pole position for the last match of the group stage, to be played next week on the 19th. Fakel have four wins, KEMEROVO have three. If Fakel win when visiting ACH Volley LJUBLJANA, they will top the pool for sure. When they fail, KEMEROVO still have to beat BERLIN Recycling Volleys in order to pass Fakel. Be sure to follow the matches next week!
