Young Yellow Tigers triumph at WEVZA U17 Girls’ Championship in Italy

The Italian Volleyball Federation (FIPAV) organised this past week the 2022 WEVZA U17 Girls’ Championship at Chiusi, Chianciano Terme, with the competition there running from August 3 to 7, 2022. All participating teams proved their value, with some matches closely contested until the last set. In the end, Belgium stood on the top step of the podium for a well-deserved triumph after finishing the tournament without suffering any loss.

After staying in contention for the title until the last day, Team France finished second by winning their final match against Spain. The Spaniards claimed bronze with hosts Italy, Germany and Portugal completing the standing by finishing in fourth, fifth and sixth place, respectively.
